| Tradewind Treasures from the South China Sea |
Tradewind Treasures gives new life to historic porcelain shards that have lain for centuries on the floor of the South China Sea – the sunken cargo of ships that once plied this ancient maritime Silk Route.
Our distinctive range of blue & white jewelry and artifacts features 17th Century Ming and 19th Century Qing porcelain. The artistry of the ancient Chinese potters is showcased in original contemporary designs.
Each item is individually handcrafted and is truly one of a kind. Our present range features jewelry set in sterling silver and artifacts of silver and wood. A Certificate of Authenticity provides historical information on the ship that carried this ceramic cargo.
Shipwrecks are time capsules that offer us a rare look into the past. Each discovery advances our understanding of Southeast Asian maritime history. Tradewind Treasures is proud to give you the opportunity to own a piece of this bygone era when merchant ships voyaging to distant lands first bridged east and west.

The Wanli Collection features rare Ming exportware or kraak from the Wanli period, circa 1625. This wreck, believed to be that of a Portuguese carrack, is arguably one of the most important finds of blue & white of this period known to exist.

The Desaru Collection features the charming ceramics of the Qing Dynasty, circa 1830. Historic shards were excavated from the wreck of a chinese junk that was carrying goods popularly used in Southeast Asia at the time.
